I'm Laura, Creator of this site. I work very hard with ebay on my auctions and pleasing every customer. I became a Powerseller on March 12th 2004. I wanted a place to get together with so many women with so much in common, we all have children and we all love to sell and shop on ebay!
I have spent alot of time working on ebay. I took it on instantly as a full time career! I have made some mistakes, sold items to cheap and struggled.
I have put alot of effort into this, and feel I should share it with others so you wont make the same mistakes and you'll also have a place to go to vent when you do.
This site much more informative then any other, right down to showing you how to store your items, keeping things in order of when to sell, finding a working routine with ebay and family and more. Ebay is easy and fun, yet to be a real profiting seller full time there is alot of things you need to know. Yes, you can make a few bucks back on those costly Gymboree clothes, but learning the statistics, timing, picturing and pricing can sky rocket that item!
Let me tell you more about me and my family. We lived on the foothills of The Beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I live with my husband and 4 children. We all enjoy eBay and treasure hunting, a big family hobby. My children love to see me peeking around in their closets, because they know I will be selling and re-buying their items soon. My boys offer up their toys to sell. The girls love checking the mail knowing a few goodies could lurk inside.
We enjoy the out doors, and traveling. My husband and I spent our entire childhood and early adult life in Phoenix Arizona. We made the move in 2005 to Colorado. Excited to find a new lifestyle and nature!
I have been asked: "If eBay takes time away from my family." I would have to say no. It grants me more time to enjoy them while working during their school or sleeping hours on my own schedule! It sure doesn't take me away from them anymore then a 20 hour a week career would. Although I am thrilled 2 are in school all day while my daughter Britnie attends Afternoon Pre-school precisely at Jasmines nap time. The advantages of running your own business are endless and parenting and nurturing my children are my biggest reward! I love it! I want every mom to have this advantage!
